Whether you choose a door from the high-end Park Avenue collection or the more moderate Renaissance collection, the stiles and rails of the door are constructed using a lumber veneer and lamination. (LVL) The core materials generally mahogany – small pieces of timber – are laminated and we apply a veneer on top of the core material. We construct the stiles and rails the same for the Renaissance collection but use panels made from lumber and then finger jointed for extra strength.

As with the Park Avenue Collection, the stiles and rails that are in the Renaissance collection are constructed in exactly the same way, thus ensuring same stability. However, as this range was designed to be at a lower cost, the panels use are constructed from 7/8" lumber and then finger jointed for extra strength. Unlike the Park Avenue the raise molding appears on one side of the door only.

Clean, simple yet Sophisticated, the doors of the Byzantine Collection achieve the warmth of a finely appointed home with iron. Often a more appropriate choice for homes of distinction, these doors sacrifice nothing in the interest of economy. Available in many styles, and inlaid glass panels, they are constructed with the same attention to detail and craftsmanship as their all-wood brethren.
